We always shoot our catalogues in my home country of Australia -
Not only does this give me a great excuse to go home twice a year to visit my family, but it means that we actually get to shoot the summer catalogue in summer and the winter catalogue in winter (or what we Australians think of as winter)
It is admittedly a long way to go and this Christmas we decided to cut a few hours off the journey by flying to Perth rather than my hometown of Melbourne.
So, that is where this summer's catalogue was shot over three days and in three locations - on the beach and in a stunning house in Cottesloe and in a classic old beach hut in Rockingham
You can pay a fortune for locations, so I count myself very fortunate that the owners of the properties were prepared to let me shoot there for a case of beer in one case and some hush samples in the other.
It is at times like these that I get a bit homesick, especially when I know it is freezing cold back in the UK.
A big thank you also to Nic (the photographer), Charlene (the sylist), Sonya ( our lovely 18-year-old model) and my gorgeous little daughter Rosie
(who models the girl's nightie).
